Yeshivas & Schools Appraised of New Rules

On Friday May 22, new rules were issued, easing the way for student visa holders to enter Israel. From now on, institutions are to apply on behalf of their students. As is common, there is a great lack of clarity surrounding the details of this process. To clarify the process, earlier this afternoon, Chaim V’Chessed issued directives to tens of yeshivas, kollelim and seminaries.

Hopefully, institutions will now have clarity on the application process. If you are an administrator and encounter difficulties, please contact our Bureaucratic Department for assistance.

We are pleased to have been able to assist the many families affected by this ruling. We are grateful to the yeshiva administrators and Roshei Kollelim who were a part of this effort. We also extend our appreciation to the various parliamentary aides who were instrumental in this process.
