Most Misrad HaPnim (Interior Ministry) offices will be closed for vacation this week, August 22 through August 26, 2021 and on Wednesday, September 1. Please see here for the Misrad HaPnim’s official vacation schedule. The branches that ARE open on these days, are by appointment only.
If you have a truly urgent situation which needs attention in the Misrad Hapnim, please contact Chaim V’Chessed. Please note, the Misrad HaPnim is usually open for visa applications on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday mornings from 8AM – 12PM. To make an appointment in Jerusalem, email ashrot-jerusalem@piba.gov.il and request a visa appointment. Make sure to include the following information in your email: Your name, passport number and cell phone number. If you do not receive a response after a week, please forward the email to Chaim V’Chessed so that we can try to look into the matter.
