The Jerusalem Municipality has been closed to the public since mid-March. This has stymied many citizens seeking to tend to to various municipal matters.
One of the most pressing issues for many is arnona, property tax. Arnona is typically due in January for each new year, yet many residents are eligible for discounts. Those who did not arrange a discount prior to the Corona crisis are essentially in arrears.
Today, June 14, the arnona offices reopened to the public. Office hours are Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 8:00 am‒1:00 pm; Tuesday 3:00 pm‒6:00 pm
