Exit Form Required from Outbound Israelis

Updated July 8, 2021 4:21 PM IST

Until recently, an online health declaration was required of all travelers departing from Israel. This requirement was cancelled in early June. However, beginning June 29, a new online declaration is mandatory.

This form must be filled out by outbound travelers who are Israeli citizens or toshavei keva (permanent residents), and older than 16 years old. Student visa holders are not required to fill out this form, even if they are recognized as residents by Bituach Leumi. The form is not a health declaration. Rather, it requires passengers to affirm that they will not travel to countries with high Covid risk. Currently, these countries are India, Russia, South Africa, Mexico, Brazil and Argentina.

Passengers who violate this rule, and travel to these countries will be subject to steep fines.
