Throughout the Corona crisis, Chaim V’Chessed has assisted and guided countless foreign citizens seeking to enter Israel for various reasons. Most frequently, these cases have involved deaths or urgent medical situations. On a happier note, we have lobbied extensively for grandparents to be allowed to enter Israel to attend the birth of a grandchild and have provided guidance for these circumstances, as well.
We have been fortunate to have the unstinting assistance of Amudim, headed by Rabbi Zvi Gluck. Amudim’s indefatigable Director of Government Relations, Rabbi David Kushner has, literally, been available around the clock to assist individuals and families in their time of need. Additionally, Rabbi Yossi Fraenkel, from Help without Borders, has constantly collaborated in these efforts. We salute these heroes for their untold service to Klal Yisrael during these challenging times!
Now, we are pleased to announce that Amudim has posted clear, detailed directions for applying in each type of situation.
