As families in Israel navigate an especially challenging time, Chaim V’Chessed continues to provide practical tools and meaningful inspiration for the community.
This Thursday night, March 12 at 9 PM, Chaim V’Chessed will host a special Zoom event for women featuring Mrs. Yael Wiesner, a well-known interior designer and professional organizer. Her presentation, Mom, the Pesach CEO – How to Manage Nissan Correctly During Challenging Times, will offer practical guidance to help mothers approach the busy pre-Pesach season with structure, confidence and calm – even amid the ongoing uncertainty.
Organizers stress that a recording will not be made available, encouraging participants to attend live and take full advantage of the opportunity. Community members are invited to register in advance at this link.
Building on a Powerful Sunday Webinar
The upcoming webinar follows a highly successful community event held this past Sunday, March 8th, when hundreds of participants joined a special Chaim V’Chessed program designed to address pressing concerns and provide clarity.
The evening began with a comprehensive presentation from the Home Front Command, delivered by Major Nurit J. Barki-Lieberman, a senior official with the Home Front’s English desk. Major Barky Lieberman clearly outlined current guidelines, explained the reasoning behind various directives and patiently answered numerous questions that have been weighing on members of the community.
Participants expressed appreciation for the straightforward information and left with a stronger understanding of both the situation and the regulations affecting daily life.
Following the official briefing, Rabbi Menachem Nissel, a R”M in Yeshivat Yishrei Lev and a renowned speaker in yeshivas and seminaries, delivered an inspiring presentation entitled Dark Times: Opportunity for Light. With his trademark warmth and clarity, Rabbi Nissel offered practical chizuk and thoughtful hashkafah, helping attendees frame current events through a Torah perspective and drawing strength from the moment. Sunday’s presentations can be viewed here.
Tuesday Travel Updates
Flights out of Israel remain very scarce. Regular flights our of Israel are severely limited, as only 100 passengers are permitted on each outbound flight. While U.S. embassy flights have begun operating, they are extremely limited, not well organized, and offer very few seats.
At this time, the most reliable route out of Israel is via travel through Egypt. Both Emes Travel and Lalechet have informed Chaim V’Chessed that they continue operating at full capacity, with very limited seats available for tomorrow’s flights. Chaim V’Chessed strongly recommends traveling only with organized groups and does not endorse any specific group or travel package.
Together, these webinars and travel updates reflect Chaim V’Chessed’s ongoing commitment to standing alongside the community—providing guidance, reassurance, and practical support when it is needed most.
