Beginning May 3, Israel will require all travelers from seven counties with high Covid infection rates to quarantine upon arrival in Israel. This will include vaccinated or recovered patients.
The affected countries are Ukraine, Ethiopia, Brazil, South Africa, India, Mexico and Turkey. Separately, Israel issued an advisory against visiting these countries.
Final government approval is still needed for this new rule. It is not yet clear if hotel quarantine will be required.
