Government Services and Travel to Resume as Ceasefire Takes Effect

Ben Gurion Airport to Fully Reopen; Schools and Offices Set to Resume Regular Operations

With the fragile but hopeful ceasefire between Israel and Iran now in effect, Israel is moving swiftly to return to routine – particularly in the realm of travel and public services.

Ben Gurion Airport will fully reopen on Wednesday, June 25, and will operate 24 hours a day, marking a major step toward restoring normalcy. While most foreign carriers continue to suspend service, El Al is expected to operate an expanded flight schedule both to bring back stranded Israelis from abroad and to fly out non-Israelis currently in Israel seeking to return home.

El Al passengers who hold tickets for flights that were previously canceled or rescheduled are advised to contact the airline immediately to arrange rebooking. In parallel, numerous charter and special flights are still being organized to accommodate the surge of travelers eager to exit the country.

Routine Resumes Across Israel

Beyond the skies, transportation services across Israel are expected to resume full regular operation on Wednesday. Schools will open as scheduled, welcoming students back to the classroom. Chaim V’Chessed has ascertained that most government offices are also set to return to standard operating hours, restoring access to essential public services.

The American Embassy in Jerusalem has announced that it will be open during its regular hours starting Wednesday.

For any urgent assistance related to government services or public affairs, individuals are encouraged to contact Chaim V’Chessed for help navigating the resumption of routine operations.
