In a major development, the Israeli cabinet gave official approval early this morning for flights to depart Israel in order to return stranded tourists and other foreigners to their home countries.
At this time, no details have been released regarding when these flights will begin or how they will operate. This approval is a very preliminary step, and it will take some time until flights commence. Furthermore, there is expected to be an extremely limited amount of flights departing at the beginning of the process. It is hoped that limited flights will commence in the coming days, with the possibility of an expanded schedule to follow.
