Following the tremendous success of previous years, Chaim V’Chessed is pleased to announce the fifth annual “Special Moments” Retreat – a unique initiative created especially for English-speaking mothers of children with special needs.
Over the years, the retreat has become a source of encouragement, support and renewal for mothers across Israel, offering participants an opportunity to step away from the demands of daily life and recharge in a warm and understanding environment alongside others who share similar experiences.
This year’s retreat is scheduled to take place on June 10-11 at the Nir Etzion Hotel in northern Israel. Participants will enjoy an uplifting and enriching program featuring professional workshops, enjoyable activities, excursions and high-quality dining in a relaxing atmosphere.
The retreat is intended for English-speaking mothers who moved to Israel as adults and are raising children with recognized disabilities who are enrolled in special education frameworks. This year, participation is limited to mothers of children under the age of 18.
As in previous years, interest is expected to exceed available space, and participation will therefore be determined through a lottery system.
The Special Moments Retreat is subsidized in part through the support of the Jewish Agency.
